Pedal for Protein 3 (2016)

The 3rd Annual Pedal for Protein bicycle event raised $40,356, and traversed from the ocean to the orchards riding five days from Mendocino through Ukiah, Middletown and Davis finishing in Rockville.  Seventeen cyclists rode the 270 mile route with 22 cyclists joining in for one or more days along the way.  More than a charity bike ride, P4P is about stretching ourselves past comfort zones, wonderful comradery and pedaling for the hungry in Northern California and beyond.

Special thanks to all those who make the trip possible:

  • the wonderful congregations that hosted overnight stays: Mendocino, Ukiah, Davis, and Rockville Presbyterian churches and the Four Springs Retreat Center, Middletown.
  • the supportive congregations of Kelseyville, Davis, Benicia for meals, Mendocino for our kick off party and Rockville for finish line celebration lunch last day!
