Pedal for Protein 6 (2019)

At the end of the 2019 P4P ride, congregations, riders, families and friends raised $47,633.

Riding one to seven days, 42 cyclists rode for the protein needs of the hungry in Redwoods Presbytery and beyond. The Pedal for Protein ride started in Orick, location of our northern most Presbyterian church, traveling down to Eureka, Camp Mattole, Garberville, Fort Bragg, Gualala, and Westminster Woods ending in Santa Rosa. It was a bucket list ride with challenging climbs, redwood forests and spectacular ocean views. Saturday September 28, the week finished with a fun one day ride and lunch at Knox PC.

Pedal for Protein owes its success to:

  • the members, friends and congregations of the Redwoods Presbytery
  • host congregations in Eureka, Orick, Fort Bragg, Knox
  • staff at Camp Mattole, Elk Meadow Cabins and Westminster Woods
  • to the Callahan’s and the Casner-Mothersill’s for delicious dinners for riders at their homes
