Pedal for Protein 7 (2020)

At the end of the 2020 P4P ride, congregations, riders, families and friends raised $45,994.

To prevent further spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Pedal for Protein took a “Sabbath Rest” from the 2020 group ride. While the group ride went on hiatus, riders were encouraged to organize and gather locally for day rides. Though the riders missed the fellowship of the group ride and the wonderful meals and gatherings at all the different churches, they still raised funds for food banks and pantries throughout the region surpassing their goal of $40,000.

Pedal for Protein "Home Spin" edition owes its success to:

  • the members, friends and congregations of the Redwoods Presbytery
  • the riders and pedal-in-place participants
  • the leadership team
  • Corinne Quinn and the Hunger Task Force
  • Pam Sommer and Homer
